Alvin
Alvin, now Otis, is the first of his brothers to find a home and man, did these two gentleman find each other at the right time Otis was desperate for love, patience, and guidance and his dad Dennis was grieving the loss of his previous dog and best friend. They met by happenstance while Otis was on a walk with his foster family and Dennis swears that his former girl led them in his direction. In his own words -
“The Ballad of Otis and Dennis:
The symmetry of Otis coming into my life is pretty amazing to me. Ella dies and I am still sorely grieiving her and not ready to look for another dog- and then this little guy appears around the corner in my neighborhood. Metaphorically or actually, I feel Ella had a hand in his coming into my life. He is such a little sweet potato.”
