Sloppy Joe
Sloppy Joe is a devishly handsome senior. He was not thriving at the shelter. Not eating or taking his meds, so itchy he couldn’t walk but a few seconds before dropping to itch fiercely all over his body, and so sad that he would just lay in his cot in his kennel not wanting to go out, the staff cleaning his kennel around him instead. Joe was not doing well and if placement for him was not found soon, euthanasia was the other option. Of course Joe is just our type, and we knew we had to give this man a chance to live his glory days out In happiness!
Outside of the shelter Joe has flourished into the happiest, silliest dude. He loves other dogs, like loves to play so much he can even annoy his more calm friends in doggy daycare hahaha He ends up making all kinds of puppy friends that can keep up with his youthful play style. Joe is estimated 10-11 years old and is 80lbs. He is looking for a cat free home but is kid friendly and has his house manners down pat. Joe manages some arthritis but is otherwise a healthy happy guy looking for his perfect retirement home. His foster family raves about what a true gentlemen he is!
