Missy and Lenny
Every day is easy like Sunday morning for Missy and Lennon now
All of our adoption posts are special, but this one is extra special and extremely personal. Missy and Lennon weren’t Swampies for very long, but were a part of my family for years prior. My grandma adopted them after their past two elderly owners could no longer care for them, not knowing that a few short years later it would be her that needed the same help.
Being able to say goodbye to Gram and let her know that her babies never have to worry about anything ever again meant more than I can even begin to say. She was an animal lover through and through, and I know she would haunt me until my dying day if I didn’t make sure they were taken care of The universe works in mysterious ways because they actually live just a few streets away from where they used to and I think Grandma would have loved to know that they are still close by.
Despite having their world turned upside down yet again, Missy and Lennon were nothing but happy and resilient on their journey to a new forever. Their family raves about how wonderful they are and how the dogs make them laugh every day. They are getting spoiled absolutely rotten, didn’t even wait a full day before taking over all the cuddliest spots, and soaking up as much sunshine as they can. Missy and Lennon are “enjoying life and that’s what it’s all about”.
Happy forever, littles. We promise this one is going to stick!
