Blueberry Muffin
Blueberry Muffin is officially home and makes every day with her family feel like the weekend.
We pulled Blue, along with her mom and sister, from an overcrowded shelter where they were at risk for euthanasia. She wasn’t even eight weeks old and could fit in the palm of our hands. It was obvious that what little time she’d spent on this planet was wrought with neglect - she was severely underweight, filled with worms, and had an eye injury. It turns out she was actually seized from a property that was recently SWAT raided, where 15 other neglected dogs were rescued. We can’t imagine what her life would have been like should she have grown up in that environment, if she even made it that long.
Fast forward six months and she is #thriving! She can often be found in the depths of her favorite beanbag, or absolutely shlumped over one of her favorite humans. We could go on and on about how amazing she’s doing, but we think this latest text from her parents sums things up perfectly:
“She is a sun worshiper and the snuggliest pupper!! She loves anything warm and cozy and wants to be close to her humans at all times! She has breathed new life into our old lady pup! She has the silliest personality and has made our family whole again! We love her so much!“
